Ik zie, ik zie, wat jij niet ziet
Cynthia is pedagoog, kunstenaar en producent. Ze is medeoprichter van GIG Haarlemmermeer, de meest succesvolle jongerenstichting in de gemeente Haarlemmermeer. Zij zal haar verhaal delen over hoe muziektechnologie voor licht aan het einde van de tunnel kan zorgen. In een tijd waarin jongeren zich onzeker voelen en de maatschappij snel verandert, kan muziektechnologie een antwoord zijn.
Cynthia is an educator, artist and producer. She is the co-founder of GIG Haarlemmermeer, the most successful youth foundation in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer. She will share her story of how music technology can provide light at the end of the tunnel. In a time where youngsters are feeling insecure and society is changing rapidly, music technology can be an answer.

Imagining Bodies: Disembodied Voices in Electronic Music & Sound Art
André is promovendus aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen en doet onderzoek naar het gebruik van de menselijke spreekstem in elektronische muziek en geluidskunst, en wat de impact hiervan is op de luisteraar. In zijn presentatie komen werken van o.a. Laurie Anderson, Jacob ter Veldhuis maar ook DJ duo Vicetone aan de orde.
André is a PhD candidate at the University of Groningen and is researching the use of the human speaking voice in electronic music and sound art, and what impact this has on the listener. His presentation will include works by Laurie Anderson, Jacob ter Veldhuis and DJ duo Vicetone, among others.

Music and Streaming: Coexistence in a complex money-dominated world
Rob was managing director van Sony en BMG. Hij was medeoprichter van het EDM label Knighvision. Het label heeft veel nieuwe EDM artiesten onder contract. Aan de hand van big data analyses laat hij zien hoe de wereld van de muziekindustrie veranderd is en artiesten door middel van streaming inkomsten kunnen genereren.
Rob was managing director of Sony and BMG. He co-founded the EDM label Knighvision. (knightvision.com and Wdwkmusic.com). The label has many new EDM artists under contract. Using big data analysis, he shows how the world of the music industry has changed and artists can generate revenue through streaming.
